There are 91 genera and about 1,000 species of bamboo. The plant can be found in diverse climates : Africa, Asia, south America and Australasia. In Greek mythology, the hero Perseus killed Medusa by using a mirrored shield. In English literature, Alice uses a mirror to gain access to a strange alternate land. This hand crafted decorative mirror features a carved spectacular Bahamas tropical palm tree and makes a perfect standing or hanging decor for your bedroom or bathroom. It can also be placed in the hallway or atop a dressing mirror to give it a nice vintage Bahamas-style look. It is painted with multiple tones of antiqued sparkle finish and the edges and trim create a fine framing effect with a warm, slightly darker polish. The top and face plates are exquisitely hand made from the finest and most beautiful bamboo, rattan, and cane woods. At the back are slots to enable you hang it onto a wall. Dimensions:
